Voice enhancer — noise reduction
Open audio or video, tune the cleanup and download the result without sending files to servers.
This tool reduces background noise and improves speech clarity in audio or video recordings using the DeepFilterNet model directly in your browser. It is ideal for home podcasts, meeting recordings, voice notes and interviews with hiss, fan or ambient noise.
Open a file, choose a cleanup preset (light, standard, strong or highlighted voice) and compare the original with the result in two players before downloading as MP3 or WAV. For fine-tuning, use the custom preset with intensity, normalization, compression and gain controls.
You can generate a preview of the first 10 seconds (for files at least 10 s long) before processing the full file. Processing is 100% local: audio and video are never uploaded to servers. The DeepFilterNet model loads on demand on first use.
Important: this tool improves speech clarity and reduces background noise when possible, but does not perfectly isolate voice from music, other speakers or complex sounds. It does not replace professional studio editing.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to the internet?
No. All processing happens in your browser. Only WebAssembly code is downloaded on first use; your audio content stays local.
Does it remove music or other voices?
Not reliably. DeepFilterNet is a noise suppressor trained for speech, not a source separator. It works best with constant or variable background noise (fan, street, café).
Which formats can I upload?
MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, M4A, AAC and videos with an audio track (MP4, WebM, AVI, MKV, MOV, etc.). Output can be MP3 or WAV.
What do the presets do?
Each preset combines a noise suppression level with audio post-processing. The Standard preset uses the recommended settings. The Highlighted voice preset adds normalization and compression to emphasize speech. The Custom preset lets you adjust all parameters manually.
What file size is recommended?
Up to 5 minutes for best performance. Files longer than 10 minutes or 100 MB are blocked to avoid browser memory failures.
