The tool suggests CPF, CNPJ, emails, phones and other structured patterns, and can apply experimental contextual heuristics for names and organizations. Nothing replaces your review: each entity can be replaced, redacted, removed or kept.
The result is a new TXT or Markdown text. The original file is not modified and must not be confused with the prepared version. This reduces data exposure but does not guarantee complete legal anonymization.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Extraction, analysis and export happen in the browser. Content is not sent to the application servers.
Does the tool fully anonymize data?
No. It performs pseudonymization and reduces exposure. Automatic detection can miss items; human review is required.
Can I download a prepared PDF or DOCX?
Not in this MVP. PDF and DOCX are text sources only. Output is TXT or Markdown to avoid hidden data in the original format.
What about scanned PDFs?
Without a selectable text layer, the MVP will not analyze the file and states that OCR is unavailable.
