Which image formats are supported?
The tool supports JPEG, PNG, WebP and TIFF. For PNG and WebP, the amount of available metadata may be smaller than in JPEG.
What is EXIF?
EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) is a metadata standard primarily used by digital cameras and smartphones. It includes information such as camera make and model, date/time, capture settings (ISO, aperture, shutter speed) and GPS coordinates.
Are my files sent to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. No files or metadata are sent to any server.
Can I copy the metadata?
Yes. Each individual value has a copy button, and there is also an option to copy all metadata as formatted JSON.
Can I edit or remove metadata?
Currently this tool is for viewing only. To edit or remove metadata, you can use other specialized tools.
