Frequently asked questions
Which formats are supported?
Input: JPG, PNG and WebP. Output: keep original or convert to WebP, AVIF, JPEG or PNG.
Will the image always be smaller?
Not always. Already optimized files may become larger after reprocessing. In those cases, the tool warns you and does not recommend replacing the original.
Can I compress multiple images at once?
Yes. Open up to 30 images per batch (max 25 MB each and 150 MB total) and download results in a .zip file.
Does transparent PNG become JPEG?
If you convert to JPEG, transparency is replaced with a white background. The tool warns you before processing.
Are my files sent to any server?
No. All compression happens locally in your browser.
